Thomas Paine's version of "you didn't build that":
"Separate an individual from society, and give him an island or a continent to possess, and he cannot acquire personal property. He cannot be rich. So inseparably are the means connected with the end,in all cases, that where the former do not exist the latter cannot be obtained. All accumulation, therefore,of personal property, beyond what a man's own hands produce, is derived to him by living in society; and he owes on every principle of justice,of gratitude, and of civilization,a part of that accumulation back again to society from whence the whole came"

At the ceremony where her old man, Warriors guard Stephen Curry, accepted his second consecutive NBA MVP trophy, Riley — who captured America’s hearts and minds with her news conference cuteness last postseason — stole the show.
And she didn’t even utter a word.
As she was walking past the media to sit with the rest of the Curry family, the 3-year-old made eye contact with several members of the press, motioned at her eyes as if to say, “I see you,” and then pointed at them with all the sass and class you’d expect from someone in the first family of basketball.
