UN official to probe drone strikes that kill civilians

An independent UN human rights researcher on Thursday announced plans to launch an investigation into the use of drone attacks and other targeted assassinations by the United States and other governments that result in civilian deaths or injuries.

This U.S. Air Force Predator MQ-1B crashed, in Djibouti on May 17, 2011, while trying to return to Camp Lemonnier, the US military base in Djibouti. Unlike the some other crashes, which crashed in the water, this one crashed on land while it was on approach to the runway next to Camp Lemonnier.
