In the immediate aftermath of Iran’s June 12 presidential elections, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of Tehran, the Iranian capital.

Reformist and pro-government supporters demonstrated in dramatic scenes unprecedented since the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

This film, from French documentary maker Manon Loizeau, gives a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on the protests and the Iranian government’s tough response.
