Thomas Paine's version of "you didn't build that":
"Separate an individual from society, and give him an island or a continent to possess, and he cannot acquire personal property. He cannot be rich. So inseparably are the means connected with the end,in all cases, that where the former do not exist the latter cannot be obtained. All accumulation, therefore,of personal property, beyond what a man's own hands produce, is derived to him by living in society; and he owes on every principle of justice,of gratitude, and of civilization,a part of that accumulation back again to society from whence the whole came"

The McGlynn: The children who are effected will never have a normal life, will be stuck on welfare or disability their whole life due the criminal activity of Snyder and his administration. They have zero chance at life.
Quoting Snyder often: “ I don’t recall”. Which is the ideal protection against being indicted for perjury.
And he wants Michigan tax payers to pay his legal fees, over one $million.
Recall this bastard! Then Indict!
Elijah Cummings annihilates Michigan governor Rick Snyder during Flint hearing
The McGlynn: A cursory look at their intellectual history would show that conservatives do not believe in equality; they do not believe in the principles of the Declaration of Independence; they support the concentration of wealth in a the hands of a few rich; and for the last 30 years, they’ve designed a system of taxation (on the basis of their “Anti-Tax” oath all conservatives are expected to sign) that favors the concentration of industries in a few large corporations, leading to a plutocratic system, where in industry after industry, cartels run the economy, killing the Middle Class.
I recall the words “We can’t pass the Civil Rights Act because blacks can’t govern themselves, let alone the White race.” …. Who said this? No, not the Flint Financial Manager appointed by the Michigan Monarch, Rick Snyder. It was William F. Buckley, one of the founders of the modern conservative movement … in 1957.]
The children in Flint, MI, are now paying for enabling the republican politics, and we share the blame because WE permitted this to happen.
Elijah Cummings (D-MD) fiercely questioned Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder on Thursday during a House committee hearing over the water crisis in Flint.
“There is no doubt in my mind that if a corporate CEO did what Governor Snyder’s administration has done, he would be hauled up on criminal charges,” Cummings said during his opening statement.
“There will now be an entire generation of children who suffer from brain damage, learning disorders, and many other horrible effects of lead poisoning that were afflicted on them by Gov. Snyder’s administration,” he added.
